Austin Peay State University continuously seeks nominations for our three prestigious Alumni Awards presented each year during Homecoming.
To be considered for the 2027 Governors Circle Alumni Awards, nominations are due no later than May 31, 2027.
Outstanding Service Award
The Austin Peay State University National Alumni Association established the Outstanding Service Award to give special recognition to individuals who, through fund raising, recruiting, advocacy or faithful service have brought honor and distinction to Austin Peay State University. This award, which may be given to an individual who is not an alumnus/a, represents the highest honor conferred upon alumni and friends of the University.
Outstanding Young Alumnus/a Award
The Outstanding Young Alumnus/a Award is given to a graduate of Austin Peay State University who is age 39 or younger. It recognizes outstanding accomplishments in one’s profession, business, community, state or nation, that have brought a high level of honor and pride to the University.
Outstanding Alumnus/a Award
The Outstanding Alumnus/a Award is given to a graduate of Austin Peay State University. It recognizes outstanding accomplishments in one’s profession, business, community, state or nation, that have brought a high level of honor and pride to the University.
Recipients are selected by a committee of alumni and university representatives who screen nominations received from alumni and friends. Each nomination should be accompanied by a summary of the nominee's accomplishments. You may also attach below any items used for this purpose (such as, resume, newspaper clippings, etc.). To submit a nomination, please complete the below form.
Current faculty, staff, students, NAA Board Executive Committee Members and university trustees are not eligible. Faculty, staff, students, NAA Board Executive Committee Members and trustees who have been separated from Austin Peay State University at least three (3) years are eligible. Currently serving elected and/or appointed public officials and current candidates and/or nominees for public elective and/or appointed offices are not eligible.
