Once a student graduates from Austin Peay, they are automatically considered part of the National Alumni Association. There are no fees or membership dues required to get involved with your local alumni group. When you receive your diploma from Austin Peay State University, you are forever a Governor! As a graduate from the University, involvement in its Association should go without reason.
In addition, anyone who completes at least 12 credit hours and is not currently enrolled as a student at APSU is considered an alumni. To become more involved with your local alumni group please complete the below information.
The APSU National Alumni Association have alumni groups across the state of Tennessee and around the nation. Alumni groups provide a medium through which the individual member of each group can contribute to the promotion and welfare of Austin Peay State University. Also, they provide a facility for stimulating interest in your area's group, its primary purposes and in Austin Peay State University.
Alumni groups bring faculty and other representatives of Austin Peay State University closer to the community, so that they may know more about the University, its activities and benefits.
Alumni groups host events such as annual events, community service projects, or special activities in their local communities.
Purpose of Alumni Groups
- To strengthen alumni engagement and support the goals of Austin Peay State University.
- Continually strive to create opportunities to reconnect our alumni with their alma mater.
- To bring together alumni and friends to network and socialize and show that we are proud to say, "Let's Go Peay!"
