APSU is proud of our alumni accomplishments, especially in the area of publishing. Through the years we have had many great writers publish works on a wide range of fiction and non-fiction subjects. This takes hardwork, time, and dedication! We are excited to offer an opportunity for our alumni to host a formal book signing, on the APSU campus.
Book Signing Format:
One table will be is setup with an agreed upon date between 11 am and 1 pm in the Morgan University Center (common area for student gatherings). At these signings, we allow authors to provide the sale of books and mingle/interact with students passing by. The Alumni Relations Office will advertise your event to the community, as well to APSU students, faculty, and staff. Light refreshments will also be included at your table. Authors will need to bring copies of their book, pens, and petty cash (if selling your book). Authors are welcome to bring other relevant materials for the table, but should be approved with the Office of Alumni Relations and Campus Facilities before doing so.
Alumni Book Signings will be screened and approved by university personnel. We reserve the right to refuse individual participation in this event, if the work does not meet the intent and purpose of Austin Peay State University.
